My best commute was when I lived in Capitol Hill and it was a 10 minute walk to 2nd Avenue between Pike and Pine. If I was running late I could jump on a Metro bus and be there in 5 minutes.
One of the (many) cool things about us moving to Billings is that we can live out in the middle of nowhere and still be only 10 minutes from downtown.
I can't even begin to describe how many jobs I've had where people who worked slow but stayed in the office from 7 to 7 every day were more highly thought of than efficient workers who worked 8-5.
