Vanity plates
May. 12th, 2003 12:29 pmOregon has these license plates that say "OREGON" at the top and "SALMON" at the bottom, with a big picture of a salmon as the background in the middle. I presume the proceeds from sale of such go to some "save the salmon" organization; lots of states have license-plate fundraisers like that.
If I lived in Oregon, I would really want to get one of those -- as a vanity plate. I'm not sure if I'd prefer the plate number "MMMFISH" or "4DINNER".
