Spontaneously Generated Order

This is a bit of a departure from the usual politically-oriented posts, though it'll get to politics eventually. I'm going to write a bit about what I think is the most significant concept in the universe -- spontaneously generated order.

Which means this will be a hellaciously long post; I'll cut it here to avoid filling your friends list with it.
